The Women’s Health Edit

Research. Lived experience. Curiosity.

An independent edit of women’s health, where research meets lived experience & curiosity leads the conversation.

Welcome to the Women’s Health Edit

For too long, women have been expected to live in bodies we were never properly taught about.

Endometriosis. Hormones. Perimenopause. Menopause. Ageing. The nervous system. The experiences that shape our health across a lifetime.

This is a space for the questions that still need asking.

Research. Lived experience. Curiosity.

I spent nearly 40 years asking questions about my own endometriosis & getting very few answers.

The Women’s Health Edit grew from that curiosity.

Here, I explore the conversations sitting between women’s health, research & lived experience. The things we know. The things we are beginning to understand. & the things women have been asking about for decades.

Not everything has a neat answer.

Sometimes the most important place to begin is with a better question.

What I’m Exploring

Endometriosis & the questions women are still asking.

Perimenopause, menopause & life beyond menopause.

Hormones & the changing female body.

The nervous system, trauma & women’s health.

Ageing, identity & what it means to live well in a changing body.

Aromatherapy, touch & holistic practice.

New research, emerging conversations & the gaps that still remain.

Research where we have it. Curiosity where we don’t.
